Follow step to for HFS+ Recovery:

  1. Download and install Restore OS X on your Macintosh machine. Now connect drive and open the software to launch main window as shown in Figure A

  3. On main window, select "Recover Volumes / Drives" then select "Formatted / Reformatted Recovery" or "Volume Recovery" option on the new window. Select FireWire drive from the list of logical drives and press "Next" to start file recovery procedure as shown in Figure B

  5. After successful scan, software will show you a list of recovered data as shown in Figure C. Lastly, save the recovered files and folders to your desired storage location.
